Personal work

When I draw for pleasure, I enjoy drawing portraits of people and animals, houses and nature, and I like using pop cultural references. I often convey feminist messages and messages about self love in my illustrations, and I love to sometimes have a bit of absurd humor in my work. My illustrations are feminine and colorful, and often very retro inspired.

My illustration style has evolved a lot over the past three years, and in my personal work portfolio, you will see that my style has become more focused on light and shade, texture and keeping a consistent color palette as time has passed. I have a carefully composed and consistent color palette, and use a lot of warm, strong colors in my drawings.
